The MS family of PIN switch diodes and the MSAT line of attenuator diodes from Aeroflex/Metelics are usable to 10 GHz and supplied in plastic surface-mount-technology (SMT) packages with standard 31-mil-high bodies. The switch diodes are available for power levels from 5 to 50 W with insertion losses at 1 GHz ranging from 0.15 through 0.40 dB. The isolation spans 10 to 63 dB at 1 GHz. The MSAT diodes are available with a variety of attenuation values, including 0.4, 0.8, 5.0, 10.0, and 27.0 dB, all with typical attenuation of 0.3 dB at 1 GHz.
