Teledyne Microwave has developed one of the smallest YIG-tuned oscillators (YTOs) on receord in the company's new TinYIG(TM) oscillator. The permanent-magnet YIG source tunes from 3 to 8 GHz and is supplied in either a TO-8B package or surface-mount housing. The phase noise is -125 dBc/Hz offset 100 kHz from the carrier while the output power is at least +6 dBm across the full frequency band. The YTO is designed for operating temperatures from +10 to +60oC. For more information, visit the Teledyne Microwave website at: www.teledynemicrowave.com
