MITEQ recently made noise in the world of electromagnetic-compatibility (EMC) testing—specifically, at the EMC2013 show in Denver, CO—with its LNB series of low-noise frequency converters. These frequency downconverters make it possible to perform EMC testing on signals through 40 GHz by downconverting them to a lower-frequency intermediate-frequency (IF) bandwidth where a lower-cost EMC receiver can be used for testing. In support of the block downconverters, MITEQ was also showing its TTA lines of desktop low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) with frequency coverage from 1 MHz to 40 GHz.
