Designed for speed, bandwidth, and low power consumption, model P4T-500M40G-60-T-55-292FF from PMI is an absorptive solid-state switch with extremely broad frequency range of 500 MHz to 40 GHz. It exhibits low insertion loss of typically 4.8 dB with fast switching speed of typically 27 ns. It features at least 60-dB isolation at 40 GHz and better than 100 dB isolation at the lower frequencies. The rugged switch is supplied in a compact housing and draws only 125 mA current from +5 VDC and 70 mA from -5 VDC supplies.
