The IEEE Microwave Theory & Techniques Symposium (MTT-S) may be the largest gathering of microwave engineers every year, but the same site also marks the industry's largest meeting of integrated-circuit (IC) designers. Held in conjunction with MTT-S, the 2011 IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFIC) Symposium opens Microwave Week 2011; the combined event will be held in the Baltimore Convention Center June 5-7. It will include several sessions with technical presentations on medical applications, millimeter-wave imaging, linear power amplifiers, and opportunities for RFICs in cognitive radios. For microwave engineers, Baltimore this June is the place to beand ditto for RFIC designers.
