Block MEMSHas been awarded a contract from Johns Hopkins University in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) intelligence community. The agreement calls for Block MEMS to develop and supply miniaturized, handheld versions of its battery operated Portable Hazard Observation System (PORTHOS).
NuWaves EngineeringHas been selected by NASA to design and manufacture prototypes for the High Efficiency Switching Power Amplifiers for Earth Radar Observation Systems (HESPEROS) program. Terms of the contract were not released.
Sumner AssociatesHas secured $533,000 in new contracts with the Department of Energy (DoE) which will be realized in 2012, with potential for additional new orders up to $3.7 million. AT&TIs collaborating with the Emergency Communications Department of Hardin County, TN to deploy a microDATA next-generation 911-call-handling solution. This complements a larger contract AT&T has with the State of Tennessee to roll out an Emergency Services Internet protocol-based network (ESInet), intended to route and deliver 911 calls.
LincorIn conjunction with its local partner, Emitac, the company has secured a contract to install its MEDIVista bedside computers at the Oasis Hospital in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The MEDIVista system is fully integrated with clinical, picture archiving, and hospital management systems.
