A line of broadband resistive couplers from International Manufacturing Services has been expanded to include a variety of new configurations, including models with wire-bondable terminals for applications from DC to 20 GHz. The firm's IMK Series of couplers are available in both forward and reverse facing directions with coupling values from 6 to 30 dB. The resistive couplers can channel as much as 5 W through power and dissipate as much as 1 W power. They measure just 0.120 x 0.120 in. They can exhibit less than 1 dB insertion loss at frequencies through 18 GHz for nominal coupling values greater than 18 dB.
