NardaMicrowave-East, an L3 Communications Company, has announced a family of directional couplers with frequency coveage as broad as 1 to 40 GHz. For example, model 4018-20 is a 20-dB coupler with coupling flatness of +/-1.25 dB and frequency sensitivity of +/-0.8 dB from 18 to 40 GHz. With 1.45-dB insertion loss, the directional coupler can handle 30 W average power and 3 kW peak power. Model 4229-10 is a 10-dB coupler that operates from 1 to 40 GHz with coupling flatness of +/-1.5 dB and frequency sensitivity of +/-1.0 dB. It exhibits insertion loss of 2.4 dB and can handle 20 W average power and 3 kW peak power. For more information, visit Narda at: http://www.nardamicrowave.com/east
