Pierre Gelpí graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and holds a master’s degree from Montreal University in Canada. He has more than 18 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
After eight years with Orange Labs working on radio technologies and international standardization, Gelpí has spent five years with Orange Business Services as technical director for large accounts. Next, he joined Siradel for two years focusing on smart city projects, notably in Chile, and wireless network planning. Pierre started the first SaaS radio planning tool dedicated to IoT before joining Semtech in 2016. He is now in charge of LoRa business development in EMEA, building end-to-end partnerships for enterprise customers, in particular for the logistics/asset-tracking vertical.
