Adapter Shrinks PMI Levels

Nov. 24, 2014
A 4.1/9.5 (mini) DIN female-to-female adapter features low passive intermodulation (PIM) distortion.
Model RFD-4195-1953 is a 4.1/9.5 (mini) DIN female-to-female “barrel” adapter manufactured with machine brass body and plated in a durable tri-metal (white-bronze) finish. It is designed for use with connectors employing the 4.1/9.5 (mini) DIN interface, which is essentially a miniature version of the 7/16 DIN connector interface (with typical top frequency of 7.5 GHz). The female-to-female adapter boasts a passive-intermodulation (PIM) rating of -160 dBc or better when evaluated with two tones at 20 W.
