Low-PIM Terminations Extend to 2.7 GHz

July 25, 2014
Coaxial terminations handle CW power levels to 50 W across a frequency range of 0.698 through 2.700 GHz.

A line of high-power terminations provides low passive-intermodulation (PIM) levels for applications from 0.698 through 2.700 GHz. Ideal for in-building and base-station communications wireless-infrastructure applications, these rugged loads are rated for average power-handling capabilities of 50 W and peak power levels to 2500 W. They exhibit minimum VSWR of 1.20:1 and typical VSWR of 1.10:1 across the frequency band with typical PIM level of -160 dBc at operating temperatures to +85°C. The terminations are available with a variety of connectors, including Type-N, 7/16 DIN, Type-N, and mini-DIN connectors. Each termination is supplied in a compact housing measuring 6 × 2.26 in.
