Surge Protectors Guard DC To 6 GHz

Jan. 10, 2013
A line of surge protectors guards against transients from lightning and other sources from DC to 6 GHz.

The Times-Protect® LP-18-400-N line of DC-pass lightning and surge protectors from Times Microwave Systems offer an operating frequency range of DC to 6 GHz. The bidirectional components can be supplied with Type-N male or female connectors and can be directly attached to the firm’s LMR-400 high-frequency cable via a non-solder interface. The surge protectors handle as much as 150 W power and allow for as much as 72 V to be supplied on the center pin of the coaxial cable, eliminating the need for two connectors and minimizing loss.
