The IMK series of resistive couplers from International Manufacturing Services, Inc. (IMS) is available for applications from DC to 15 GHz. The resistive couplers can be specified with values of 6 to 30 dB with less than 1 dB insertion loss for coupling values greater than 18 dB. The VSWR is typically 1.2:1 while the typical power-handling capability is 1 W. Fabricated with thick film on alumina substrates, the couplers measure 0.120 x 0.120 x 0.035 in. or less.
