Antenna Housing Blends Three Elements

Model HG2414DP-3NF is a HyperLink 2.4-GHz panel antenna from L-Com that combines vertical and horizontal polarization with high gain of 14 dBi. It packs three antenna elements— two vertically polarized and one horizontally polarized—for multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) point-to-point and point-to-multipoint applications at 2.4 GHz, including coverage of the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless-local-area-network (WLAN) standards.

Model HG2414DP-3NF is a HyperLink 2.4-GHz panel antenna from L-Com that combines vertical and horizontal polarization with high gain of 14 dBi. It packs three antenna elements— two vertically polarized and one horizontally polarized—for multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) point-to-point and point-to-multipoint applications at 2.4 GHz, including coverage of the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless-local-area-network (WLAN) standards. The antenna, which measures 12.40 x 12.40 x 0.98 in., achieves a horizontal beamwidth of 44 deg. and a vertical beamwidth of 46 deg.

Patrick Pesa, Director of Product Development, explains: “With the increased popularity of MIMO radio devices, this antenna gives our customers more options in regards to our MIMO antenna line.” The new antenna includes a heavy-duty ultraviolet (UV) resistant plastic radome and a tilt-and-swivel mast mount kit. The antenna is rated for wind velocity to 130 mph and maximum input power of 10 W.
