With continuous-wave (CW) power handling of 8 W in a package measuring just 3.2 x 2.5 mm, the LFCV-45+ lowpass filter (LPF) is ideal for mediumpower transmit applications. It exhibits passband insertion loss to 1.2 dB at 45 MHz and passband return loss of typically 20 dB at 45 MHz. The ceramic LPF boasts stop-band rejection of at least 20 dB at 120 MHz and typically 50 dB at 180 MHz. From 55 to +100C, the filter typically exhibits less than 0.2 dB passband insertion-loss variation and under 0.4 dB of rejection variation at the 20-dB point (as measured on a single unit). By achieving 50 dB of rejection at 180 MHz, the LFCV-45+ vows to provide a versatile anti-aliasing solution for high-data-rate receivers. This low-temperature-cofired-ceramic (LTCC), seven-section design extends the lower frequency cutoff range of the existing LFCN series to 45 MHz. Systems that previously relied on active or lumped-element filtering to support these lower frequencies can save power and system complexity by integrating the LFCV-45+ into new designs. These filters are offered in an EIA 1210 package size, which is the size of typical surface-mounted resistors or capacitors. Pricing is $3.99 each in quantities of 10 pieces.
