The IMK resistive-coupler series covers DC to 15 GHz. Thanks to their thick-film-on-alumina construction, the couplers promise insertion-loss performance comparable to frequency-sensitive couplers. A 0.120-x-0.120-in. device, for example, exhibits insertion loss of 1 dB or less. It is available with a coupling range from 6 to 30 dB and is rated at 1 W input power. The coupler operates from -55 to +150C. It exhibits VSWR of 1.20:1, depending on implementation. Attachment is accomplished with either solder or epoxy.
