Oscillator Locks Onto 1030 MHz

Oct. 8, 2012
Model CLX-1020-XA is a fixed-frequency, phase-locked oscillator with a stable output at 1030 MHz.

Model CLX-1020-XA is a fixed-frequency, phase-locked oscillator with a stable output at 1030 MHz. It includes an internal reference with ±2 ppm stability and delivers +7 dBm output power with ±2-dB output-power flatness. Harmonics are better than -20 dBc while spurious content is better than -80 dBc. The phase noise is better than -97 dBc/Hz offset 1 kHz from the carrier, -109 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier, and -135 dBc/Hz offset 100 kHz from the carrier. The phase-locked oscillator draws less than 85 mA from a +5-VDC supply and has an operating temperature range from -30 to +70°C. It is supplied in a 0.75 x 0.75 in. surface-mount-technology (SMT) package.
