Model 2A9NGV-2 is a compact coaxial isolator designed for use in Ka-band satellite-communications (satcom) on-the-move (SOTM) terminals. Equipped with K connectors for use from 27.5 to 30.5 GHz, the isolator can handle 10 W forward power and 1 W reverse power across the frequency range, with only 0.5-dB insertion loss. It can also be customized for as much as 50 W forward power and 10 W reverse power. It offers 23-dB isolation and 23-dB return loss in a housing measuring just 0.75 × 0.66× 0.58 in. The typical VSWR is 1.15:1. The isolator achieves -80 dBc electromagnetic-interference (EMI) shielding and can handle operating temperatures from -20 to +65°C.
