How to Use Oscilloscope Pulse and Digital Signal Measurements (Part 7)

Nov. 4, 2021
Oscilloscopes are handy at measuring digital signals as well.

This video is part of an Article Series: XYZs of Oscilloscopes.

Many oscilloscope measurements are used for characterizing pulse signals or digital data. While you can always use cursors or estimate the measurement off the display, it's often easier and more precise to use the built-in measurements on the scope. In this video tutorial, we'll show you how to make digital signal-amplitude measurements like high, low, and overshoot. You'll learn about pulse and edge counting, and we'll talk about time measurements like rise and fall times and delay measurements.
