The model 409A signal generator from Novatech Instruments provides four simultaneous signal channels from 0.1 Hz to 171 MHz with 0.1-Hz frequency resolution. Based on the AD9959 direct-digital-synthesizer (DDS) chip from Analog Devices, the signal generator features better than -120 dBc/Hz phase noise offset 10 kHz from a 5-MHz carrier. Spurious levels are better than -50 dBc for all output frequencies. The four output channels can be set independently and can be offset by controllable phase. The instrument sells for $995.00.
