Eagleware Corporation (Norcross, GA) has announced that it will host a web seminar called "RF System Architecture Design without Skinned Knuckles" featuring the company's SPECTRASYS software, a full spectral-domain simulator capable of analyzing signal sneak paths, full channel bandwidth, and system interactions. The software can be used to perform analysis and reduce design costs before a prototype is built and actual test measurements are made.

The web seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at 10:00 AM EDT, and again on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 4:30 PM EST. RF and microwave engineers who want to learn about this exciting new technology can register by visiting www.eagleware.com/signup. The only qualifications for attending are being an RF or microwave designer or design manager, and having an Internet connection and web browser.

According to the company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Todd Cutler, the unusual title was fitting for this on-line educational event: "Anyone who has tried to use the wrong tool to work on a car or a home project probably knows all about skinned knuckles. We want RF and microwave engineers to know they can put away their band-aids. The right tool for System Architecture Design is here."

The seminar program will be presented by Rulon VanDyke, the lead developer of SPECTRASYS. For 10 years, Rulon designed first-, second-, and third-generation digital cellular transceivers and base stations for AT&T Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies. He led the development of SPECTRASYS because he was frustrated by the limitations of traditional RF and microwave design tools. The result of his efforts is a new class of tools created by RF engineers for RF engineers.
