Centro de Tecnologia de las Comunicaciones, S.A. (CETECOM) announced that the Mobile Communications Integrated Tester (MINT) has been recently validated for W-CDMA protocol testing according to 3GPP TS 34.123-3 and W-CDMA RF testing according to 3GPP TS 34.121 following the GCF Certification Criteria. The MINT system represents a test solution for mobile terminal manufacturers, reference design houses, network operators and test laboratories in order to perform 2G and 3G conformance, performance and debugging testing with a powerful, flexible and validated test system. According to Juan Carlos Mora, Product Manager at CETECOM Spain, "with this important milestone, we strengthen our position as advanced technology provider within the test systems suppliers group not only for 2G, but for the growing 3G market as well."
