Comarco, a company known for its custom wireless test solutions, is makeing a name for itself in highway call box services. The firm has landed a new call box contract for nine Northern California counties around the Bay Area. Valued at more than $4.1 million, the contract is with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission Services for Freeways and Expressways "MTC SAFE," which provides motorist aid call box services in those nine counties. The company will upgrade existing analog call boxes to digital wieless technology. The new contract adds to existing call box work taken on by the company's call box group, now totalling over $14 million. For more information, contact Comarco at www.comarco.com.
