Model MTS2500-200400-1 from Synergy Microwave Corp. is a miniature surface-mount frequency synthesizer that tunes from 2000 to 4000 MHz with better than 10 ms setting time to within 1 kHz of a new frequency. It delivers +8 dBm typical output power over the frequency range, with spurious content of typically -60 dBc and harmonics of typically -10 dBm. The single-sideband phase noise is typically -88 dBc/Hz offset 1 kHz from the carrier, -86 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier, and -100 dBc/Hz offset 100 kHz from the carrier. The miniature synthesizer is supplied in a RoHS-compatible package measuring just 1.95 x 1.25 x 0.47 in. They operate on +3.3 and +5.0 VDC supplies.
