Model JDM2WK-20202120-15-8P from MITEQ is a narrowband waveguide low-noise amplifier from MITEQ ideal for airborne satellite-communications (satcom) links. It has a typical noise figure of 1.5 dB and small-signal gain of 48 dB from 18 to 26 GHz. The gain is flat within 1 dB and the output power is at least +8 dBm at 1-dB gain compression. The output third-order intercept point is at least +18 dBm. The LNA is designed for operating case temperatures from -54 to +85?C. The nominal current draw is 150 mA from a single +15-VDC supply. The LNA's aluminum housing measures 58.12 x 22.35 x 22.35 mm and weighs about 32 g. It is supplied with a WR-42 waveguide input port and female K connector on the output port, and is also available with a WR-51 waveguide input port.
