Teledyne KW Microwave has announced a free on-line design application tool that allows engineers to create custom bandpass filters in real time. The program's dynamic interface is designed to reduce the time needed to develop a filter according to a specific set of performance and mechanical requirements. The software offers the option of allowing users to receive text files of a design to be used into a simulation program for further analysis. The real-time design tool incorporates proprietary algorithms to allow for manufacturing, material, and temperature variations so that users enjoy a more robust simulation.
