Amplifier Boosts L-Band Applications

Jan. 21, 2015
This power amplifier provides 35 W output power from 800 to 2000 MHz.
Model 13G05A is a power amplifier developed for applications from 800 to 2000 MHz. It provides at least 35 W output power across that frequency range when fed with a nominal drive level of 0 dBm. It boasts better than 40% module efficiency and more than 45 dB small-signal gain. The amplifier is supplied in an aluminum chassis for effective dissipation of heat; it measures just 4.50 × 3.50 × 0.61 in. It is a candidate for a wide range of applications on the ground and in the air, from communications systems, electronic-warfare (EW) systems, through test systems.
