A line of 1- and 2-W broadband amplifiers includes models to 18 GHz.

A line of 1- and 2-W broadband amplifiers from Pasternack includes models for coverage from 2 to 18 GHz. For example, model PE15A4005 provides +30-dBm output power at 1-dB compression (1 W) from 2 to 6 GHz with 33-dB small-signal gain and ±1-dB gain flatness. It achieves an output third-order intercept point (OIP3) of +39 dBm with noise figure of 5 dB. The input and output VSWR are 2.0:1. The amplifier draws 1 A current from a +12-VDC supply. At the high-frequency end, model PE15A3507 provides +30 dBm output power (1 W) at 1-dB compression from 12 to 18 GHz with 43-dB small-signal gain and ±2-dB gain flatness. It has a noise figure of 6 dB. Both amplifiers are rated for operating temperatures of -55 to +85°C.
