Precision Source Supplies 2000 MHz

June 10, 2013
A precision frequency source provides +5 dBm at 2 GHz with low phase noise and harmonic content.

Model CRFS75-2000 from Crystek Corp. is a precision frequency source that provides +5-dBm typical output power at 2000 MHz with ±150 ppm accuracy. It exhibits second harmonics of typically -20 dBc with single-sideband (SSB) phase noise of typically -133 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier and typically -158 dBc/Hz offset 1 MHz from the carrier. The oscillator draws typical input current of 30 mA from a supply at +4.75 to +5.25 VDC across operating temperatures from -40 to +85°C. The source, which is supplied in a surface-mount housing measuring 0.75 x 0.75 x 0.250 in. (19.05 x 19.05 x 6.35 mm), meets the applicable requirements of MIL-STD-883 for  shock, vibration, moisture resistance, and thermal shock.
