ANADIGICS Shows Amplifier Assortment

June 3, 2013
A series of advanced power amplifiers promises high efficiency in handsets and other 3G and 4G cellular communications products.

For its part at the 2013 IMS in Seattle, ANADIGICS will be showing its ProEficient-Plus™ power amplifiers as well as its IEEE 802.11ac wireless-local-area-network (WLAN) front-end integrated circuits (ICs) at its booth No. 718. The dual-band ProEficient-Plus power amplifiers are designed to provide improved efficiency in third-generation (3G) and fourth-generation (4G) cellular communications applications for longer battery life in smaller mobile communications products. The amplifiers incorporate average-power-tracking (APT) techniques to reduce current consumption at medium- and low-power operating levels. In addition, the firm will participate in a Design Advisor event at Richardson RFPD booth No. 620 (Tuesday, June 4, at 4:00 PM) as part of an educational discussion focused on selecting power amplifiers for wireless infrastructure applications. ANADIGICS’s Glenn Eswein, Director of Product Marketing for Wireless Infrastructure Power Amplifiers, will provide insights into proper choosing of power amplifiers for these applications.
