    Bench-Top Amplifiers Boost Lab Measurements

     A line of broadband amplifiers from Microsemi RF Integrated Solutions (RFIS) can now be supplied in test-instrument form to assist with low-level signal measurements in the laboratory. Model AML1826P3203-BT is an example, with 36-dB typical gain across a frequency range of 28.0 to 26.5 GHz.

    A line of broadband amplifiers from Microsemi RF Integrated Solutions (RFIS) can now be supplied in test-instrument form to assist with low-level signal measurements in the laboratory. Model AML1826P3203-BT is an example, with 36-dB typical gain across a frequency range of 28.0 to 26.5 GHz. It features ±3 dB gain flatness across that bandwidth, with 5-dB typical noise figure. The laboratory amplifier achieves +31-dBm minimum and +32-dBm typical output power at 1-dB compression with 1.80:1 typical input/output VSWR. A wide range of additional amplifiers are available to 40 GHz. The amplifiers are supplied in a rugged metal enclosure with internal heat sink and cooling fan, and can be specified for operation at 110 VAC 60 Hz or 200 to 240 VAC 50/60 Hz. The input and output coaxial connectors are mounted on the front panel, while the AC power is supplied via an IEC-320 rear panel connector. The amplifier enclosure measures 4 x 10 in.
