Power Splitters Minimize PIM
A series of reactive power splitters includes Model LPR3D-1.950WWP for low-passive-intermodulation (PIM) applications from 1,700 to 2,200 MHz. Available in two and three-way versions with 7/16 DIN or Type-N connectors at all ports, the splitters cut PIM levels to at least −153 dBc and typically –160 dBc. They are rated for 120-W power with maximum insertion loss of 0.6 dB and typical insertion loss of 0.5 dB. The worst-case VSWR for these 50-Ω splitters is 1.35:1, with typical VSWR of 1.25:1. Typical amplitude balance is ±0.35 dB while typical phase balance is ±4° from port to port. The splitters are designed for operating temperatures from –55 to 85°C.
