Anadigics—Tim Laverick has joined the company as Vice President, Infrastructure Products. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Engineering and Product Development at Jacket Micro Devices. Laverick has held previous positions at Anadigics both as General Manager of the company’s fiber-optic product segment and Vice President of Design Technology. In addition, Robert Bayruns has been appointed Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.

Lemko Corp.—Robert Condon has been named President of Lemko Europe. Condon, the Founder of Atlantic Telecom, also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Comcast BroadNet.

Micrel—Thomas S. Wong, Vice President of the company’s High Bandwidth Division, has announced his retirement. Wong joined Micrel in 1998, following the company’s acquisition of Synergy Semiconductor Corp. Rami Kanama, Vice President of Clock and Timing Products, will take over responsibility for the High Bandwidth Division.

West Wireless Health Institute—Rodger Currie has been appointed Senior Vice President of Government Affairs—a newly created appointment. Previously, Currie served as Senior Vice President for DEKA Research & Development.

Inmarsat Government—David Helfgott has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Helfgott joined Inmarsat in 2011 as both President of Inmarsat, Inc. and Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for parent company Inmarsat plc.

Lockheed martin—The board of directors has appointed President and Chief Operating Officer Christopher E. Kubasik to the newly established position of Vice Chairman. Kubasik will succeed Robert J. Stevens as Chief Executive Officer on Jan. 1, 2013.

Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA)—The industry group has named Dr. Abhijit Gupta Analog/Mixed-Signal/Radio Frequency (AMS/RF) Working Group Chairman. Gupta is the Director of Foundry Technology for SanDisk.

Etisalat Group—Khalifa Al Shamsi has been named Chief Digital Services Officer. Al Shamsi most recently served as the company’s Senior Vice President of Technology Strategy.

Indium Corp.—Robert Ploessl, Ph.D., has been named Product Manager for indium, gallium, germanium, and tin compounds. Ploessl, who joined Indium Corp. in 2010, is based out of the company’s global headquarters located in Clinton, NY.

Analog Devices (ADI)—Has appointed Somshubhro (Som) Pal Choudhury as Managing Director for Operations in India. Pal Choudhury joins ADI from NETGEAR, where he served as Product Line Director.
