U.S. and Canada Seek Military, Commercial Business in Latin America

May 17, 2018
The F-Air Columbia show in 2019 addresses commercial and military aviation design and equipment needs.

Aerospace and defense manufacturers from the U.S. and Canada seeking expansion into Latin America will have an opportunity to strengthen ties with military and commercial customers from that region with next year’s F-Air Columbia event. It is scheduled for July 11-14, 2019 in Rionegro-Antioquia, Columbia. Held every two years, the event is Columbia’s largest and most diversified military and aerospace industry gathering, with the U.S. designated as the “Featured Nation” to ensure that exhibitors from the U.S. receive extra attention at F-Air Columbia.

The event is expected to draw hundreds of exhibiting companies and thousands of visitors. Show organizers are planning to highlight the growing requirements for military modernization, as well as the expansion of civilian aviation infrastructure. Columbia is much involved with its own expansion of commercial transport infrastructure, with growing needs for national security.
