U.S. Army Medical Command Looks to GD for Training

General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a contract for approximately $58.9 million by the U.S. Army Medical Command for professional training and operations services.

The U.S. Army Medical Command has awarded General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics, a single-award contract with potential value of approximately $58.9 million. The contract, which is for a one-year base time period and four option years, is for professional training and operations services in support of the U.S. Army Reserve regional training sites medical program.

Work on the contract will be performed at more than 15 locations throughout the United States. As part of the contract, General Dynamics will provide customized medical training and exercises. “General Dynamics is a global leader in delivering military training capabilities that help strengthen readiness,” offered Rich Farinacci, vice president and general manager of General Dynamics Information Technology’s Professional Services and Training Solutions sector. “Our highly experienced team will provide integrated combat health and logistical support training to meet vital Army Reserve medical requirements.”
