A line of broadband fixed attenuators from Skyworks Solutions includes models capable of operating to 40 GHz in commercial and military applications. The ATN3590 series of absorptive attenuators can be specified with attenuation values of 0 to 10 in 1-dB steps, and 12, 15, 20, and 30 dB. The typical return loss is 30 dB and the maximum input-power rating is 2 W. The attenuation flatness is 0.15 dB for attenuation values through 8 dB from DC to 12 GHz and 0.2 dB through 40 GHz for those same attenuation values.
