Radar and Sensing Solutions Detect Terrorists

March 21, 2017
To identify and respond to a terrorist threat or active-shooter situation before they act, these solutions rely on sensor and/or radar technologies.

As the U.S. and the world grapples with the risk of terrorist attacks or active shooters, technology companies have worked to develop enhanced detection systems. These systems, which are either radar or sensor based, will pinpoint a threat based on what a person is concealing in terms of weaponry, a bomb, etc. With advanced software algorithms, such solutions are advancing to the point where they can learn and store new threats to their databased on an ongoing basis. They even can determine when to activate a warning if a weapon is detected, depending on threat level.
