LINWAVE TECHNOLOGYIan Dale has been named Sales Account Manager. Dale's background is in semiconductor processing with experience in the design, development, and manufacture of microwave and millimeter- wave devices. He has spent the last five years in a technical sales role.
SCINTERA NETWORKS, INC.Davin Lee has been appointed CEO, as well as a member of the company's Board of Directors, effective immediately. He replaces Art Reidel, who will remain on the board. Lee comes to Scintera from Intersil, where he most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of the company's Consumer Power Products group.
ANATECH ELECTRONICSGarethLlewellyn has been appointed Director of US Sales. Llewellyn has more than 20 years of experience in the RF and microwave industry, having held various management positions at companies including Micro Networks, Device Technology, and Emcore Corp.
QUALCOMMHas announced two organizational changes. Global Business Operations (GBO), previously referred to as Global Business Development, will be led by Jing Wang as Executive Vice President of Qualcomm and President of Global Business Operations. In addition, a new organization called Global Market Development (GMD) will be led by Peggy Johnson as Executive Vice President of Qualcomm and President of Global Market Development.

ALTAIR SEMICONDUCTORSiegmund M. Redl has been appointed General Manager for Europe. Redl, who most recently served as Country Manager for Qualcomm in Germany, has co-authored three textbooks on GSM and digital cellular technology. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving Altair's European business-developmentrelated activities with OEMs, mobile-network operators, and industry partners.
