LXI Consortium

Qualcomm
Has completed its acquisition of Atheros Communications, Inc. Atheros will now operate as Qualcomm Atheros, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm. In addition, Qualcomm's Connectivity Team will shift to Qualcomm Atheros. The acquisition was completed at an enterprise value of approximately $3.1 billion.

Announced that Huawei, LG Electronics, and Samsung Electronics have become sponsor members, with each company appointing a director to the organization's board. Laird TechnologiesHas signed SE Spezial-Electronic AG as a distributor in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Poland for its wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) offerings. Laird's product line targets the automotive, telematics, healthcare, retail, finance, security, and asset-management markets.
Vanguard EMS and Tektronix Component Solutions
Have signed a joint marketing agreement to formalize their collaboration in the defense, aerospace, medical, and industrial equipment markets. The collaboration is intended to provide customers with access to the engineering, manufacturing, and test services needed to support their assembly requirements from the microelectronics level to final system build and test.
Premier Farnell and Johanson
