Model CLV0986E-LF is a compact voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) from Z-Communications that operates from 971 to 1002 MHz with tuning voltages of 0.5 to 4.5 V. It exhibits typical tuning sensitivity of 18 MHz/V and can deliver 0 dBm output power from a +5-VDC supply (20 mA current). The RoHS-compliant oscillator is designed for an operating temperature range of -40 to +85C. Harmonics are -20 dBc while typical phase noise is -113 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier. It is supplied in the firm's standard MINI-14S-L package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.13 in. and is available in tape-and-reel packaging for automated production.
