Renaissance Electronics will be showcasing its new model 18A7NF-1 switch matrix at the upcoming MTT-S Exhibition in Atlanta, GA next month. The 8 x 8 switch matrix is based on 80 single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) microelectromechanical-systems (MEMS) switch devices rated for a lifetime of better than 100 billion switching cycles. The switch matrix features better than 40-dB isolation from DC to 2.5 GHz with 6 dB insertion loss and 5-microsecond switching speed. The VSWR is 1.40:1 or better.
