High-gain log-periodic antenna model ATR26M6G-1 from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation uses a proprietary "bent element" approach with additional innovations to achieve a size reduction of approximately 75 percent compared to conventional log-periodic antennas without sacrificing gain and beamwidth. The broadband antenna is ideal for field-strength immunity testing from 26 MHz to 6 GHz and is rated for power levels to 5000 W, which are required for generating the high field levels needed for radio-frequency immunity (RFI) testing. The antenna's broad frequency range addresses existing RF susceptibility requirements as well as anticipated future developments and is matched to work directly with AR's "W," "S," and "A" series RF power amplifiers.
