Covering a wide range of applications from VHF/UHF through 900 MHz, model ADRF6801 is a versatile in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) demodulator radio-frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) from Analog Devices. Ideal for RFID, cellular, satcom, point-to-point radios, and Industrial-Scientific-Medical (ISM) applications in the 900-MHz band, the demodulator operates from 750 to 1150 MHz with a 1-dB compression point of +12.5 dB and third-order intercept point of +25 dBm. It has double-sideband (DSB) noise figure of 14.3 dB and voltage conversion gain of 5.1 dB.

The amplitude accuracy is an impressive 0.05 dB and the phase accuracy is 0.3 deg. The device, which is supplied in a 40-lead 6 x 6 mm LFCSP surface-mount package, provides a 3-dB demodulation bandwidth of 275 MHz.
