A series of microstrip and surface-mount-technology (SMT) quadrature dividers from International Manufacturing Services has been expanded to include units at S-, C-, X-, Ku-, and K-band frequencies. The IMD series quadrature dividers are available with operational bandwidths of 10 percent in those frequency bands, with less than 0.4 dB typical insertion loss and isolation of better than 15 dB. The miniature dividers are ideal for splitting and combining signals in multistage, multidevice power amplifiers, and can handle power levels to 20 W CW.
