With a frequency range of DC to 24 GHz, model HMC910LC4B from Hittite is a broadband MMIC time delay designed for timing adjustments in clock and data recovery, edge detection, non-return-to-zero (NRZ)/return-to-zero (RZ) conversion, data restoration, and multiplexer/demultiplexer applications. It provides continuously variable time delays from 0 to 70 ps while maintaining a constant differential output voltage swing. It accepts either single-ended or differential input data and is easily programmed via DC voltage. A delay control port provides a modulation bandwidth of 600 MHz. The delay is optimized for high-speed operation and provides rise and fall times of 14 ps and less than 300 fs rms random jitter. It is supplied in a RoHS-compliant, 4 x 4 mm ceramic surface-mount package.
