Model 4772-3 is a miniature fixed 3-dB attenuator from Narda Microwave East, an L-3 Communications company. It operates from DC to 6 GHz with VSWR of 1.40:1 or less and meets the environmental requirements for MIL-A-3933. It handles 2 W average power and 200 W peak power over the frequency range with no worse than 0.3 dB attenuation deviation. It measures only 1.24 x 0.38 in. and weighs 0.5 oz. and is supplied with stainless-steel SMA female connectors. The firm also offers the model 4772-30 with 30-dB fixed attenuation across the same DC-to-6-GHz frequency range, with 0.5 dB or less deviation in the 30-dB attenuation value.
