The Seventh Annual IEEE Wireless and Microwave (WAMI) Technology Conference ("WAMICON 2005") is scheduled for April 7-8, 2005 at the Marriot Suites, Sand Key Beach, Clearwater, FL. The General Chair for the conference is Ray Pengelly of Cree Microwave ([email protected]) while the Technical Program Chair is Dr. Huseyin Arslan ([email protected]) at the University of South Florida. Topics of interest include next-generation wireless systems, ultrawideband (UWB) communicaitons, wireless sensors, software-defined radios (SDRs), advanced modeling techniques, spread spectrum, wireless local area networks (WLANs), smart antennas, and Bluetooth. This first call for papers notes a deadline of December 15th for abstracts. Those interested in making a presentation should send an extended abstract (maximum of two pages) to Dr. Arslan electronically at [email protected].
