Omron Electronic Components LLC. has introduced its miniature G6K-RF-S series double-pole, double-throw (DPDT) gull-wing surface-mount RF relays that measure just 10.7 x 8.6 mm including terminals. They are designed to handle 1 A at +30 VDC and 1 W at 1 GHz with a VSWR of less than 1.20:1. They are available in 3, 4.5, 5.0, 12.0, and 24.0 VDC coil voltage versions with non-latching or single-coil options. The RoHS-compliant relays consume only 100 mW during operation and provide life expectancy of 100,000 operations or more. They provide at least 20-dB isolation between terminals at 1 GHz, with 0.2 dB insertion loss at 1 GHz.
