Model XU1019-QH from Mimix Broadband is a frequency upconverter that integrates an image-reject balanced mixer, local-oscillator (LO) buffer amplifier, LO doubler, and RF buffer amplifier to generate output signals from 37 to 40 GHz. The upconverter, which features conversion gain of 7 dB and image rejection of more than 15 dB, has an input third-order intercept point (IIP3) of +20 dBm. The upconverter, which can be tuned for less than -25 dBm 2LO leakage, is well suited for point-to-point (PTP) radio, satellite communications (satcom), and very-small-aperture-terminal (VSAT) applications. It is supplied in a 4 x 4 mm RoHS-compliant QFN plastic package. According to David Richardson, Mimix Product Line Director, "The XU1019-QH delivers exceptional 2xLO leakage and image rejection performance in the 38-GHz PTP radio band, with IIP3 and conversion gain exceeding typical application requirements."
