Model VFXO250 is a compact, low-power crystal oscillator in a surface-mount package measuring just 2.5 x 2.0 mm. It is available with standard frequencies of 24, 26, and 40 MHz, and can be supplied with single output frequencies from 1 to 50 MHz. Frequency stability can be specified at levels of 50, 25, or 20 ppm, with an aging rate of 3 ppm. The crystal oscillator can be designed for supply voltages of +1.8, +2.5, or +3.3 VDC, with current consumption as low as 7 mA. Ideal for use in portable, battery-powered applications, the crystal oscillator supplies a CMOS output with less than 1 ps root-mean-square (RMS) jitter from 12 kHz to 20 MHz.
